Privacy
In short: none of the apps collects data about you. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no server of mine. What you enter stays on your devices and, if you want, in your own iCloud.

What applies to all apps
- No user account, no sign-in.
- No advertising, no analytics services, no tracking as defined by App Tracking Transparency, no third-party libraries that collect data.
- No transfer to servers of the developer. There are none.
- Notifications and reminders are scheduled on your device.
Your rights
As I receive no personal data from the apps, I hold no data that access, correction or deletion requests could refer to. You control your data yourself: delete it in the app, turn off iCloud sync or remove the app. If you email me, I only use your address and message to reply. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
This website
This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you visit, Netlify processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time and requested URL to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement with Netlify is in place; transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. The site sets no cookies, loads no third-party content and does not measure visits.
Finanzen
Finanzen stores your transactions, fixed costs, budgets and savings goals in a database on your iPhone or Mac.
- iCloud: If you use sync, your data is also stored in your private iCloud database so it appears on your devices with the same Apple Account. Neither I nor third parties can access it. Apple processes it.
- Face ID and Touch ID: Your device checks the unlock itself. The app only learns whether it worked and never sees your face, fingerprint or passcode.
- Apple Pay via Shortcuts: If you set up the automation, the Shortcuts app passes the amount and merchant of a payment directly to Finanzen on your device. I receive none of it.
- Export: A CSV file is only created when you create it, and goes where you save it.
- Deletion: “Delete everything” in Settings, or removing the app, deletes all data.
Tagebuch
Tagebuch stores only what you enter yourself: date, mood and energy, sleep duration and quality, your text and images you attach to a day. You choose images in Apple's picker and only those reach the app; their location is not kept.
- iCloud: If you turn on sync, your entries are also stored in your private iCloud database. It belongs to your Apple Account; neither I nor third parties can access it. Apple processes it. Sync is off at first and can be turned off at any time.
- Health: Only if you turn it on and grant access, the app reads sleep duration, resting heart rate and steps to complete your entry. It never writes to Health, does not share this data and does not use it for advertising or analysis. You can revoke access at any time.
- Files and backups: Text files, backups and PDF reports are only created in folders you choose.
Changes
If anything changes in an app, I update this page and the date above.
